Confluence Confluence

Confluence is a collaboration wiki tools used to help teams to collaborate and share knowledge efficiently.
Confluence captures project requirements, assigns tasks to specific users, and manages several calendars at once with the help of Team Calendars add-on.

Please note, when you hover when you move your cursor to the lower part of the arcade screen, navigation tabs will emerge. These tabs enable you to freely navigate through the tutorial at your convenience.

Creating a Confluence connection

Stage One: The Confluence Platform

  1. Log in to your Confluence Account.

  2. Navigate to the Atlassian Account Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Security Tab.

  4. Click Create and Manage API token.

  5. Click the Create API Token button.

  6. Provide a Name for your token.

  7. Copy and save the API Key, and store it in a safe place as you will require it for later on in the process.

  8. Click the Close button.

  9. Navigate to the Blink Platform, to crete your Jira Connection.

  1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the Connections page > Add connection. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.

  2. Select the Confluence icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.

  3. Optional- Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.

  4. Select API Token as the method to create the connection.

  5. Fill in the parameters:

    • The API token
    • The API address
  6. Click Test Connection to test it.

  7. Click Create connection. The new connection appears on the Connections page.
