Creating a Prisma Access connection

Using Service Account

To create the connection you need:

  • A Client ID
  • A Client Secret
  • A Tenant Service Group ID

Obtaining the credentials

  1. Identify or create the TSG that you want to use for the scope of the access token.
    From the TSG, you can find your TSG_ID that you use for the access token's scope.
  2. Either identify or create the service account that you want to use for the request.
    This gives you the Client ID and Client Secret that you use to obtain the access token.

Creating your connection

  1. In the Blink platform, navigate to the Connections page > Add connection. A New Connection dialog box opens displaying icons of external service providers available.
  2. Select the Prisma Access icon. A dialog box with name of the connection and connection methods appear.
  3. (Optional) Edit the name of the connection. At a later stage you cannot edit the name.
  4. Select Service Account as the method to create the connection.
  5. Fill in the parameters:
    • The Client ID
    • The Client Secret
    • The Tenant Service Group ID
  6. (Optional) Click Test Connection to test it.
  7. Click Create connection. The new connection appears on the Connections page.
